Colonial developed a solution to use LED floodlights and programming software to light the entire facade of the 280’Lx 42’H building with multiple color changing pattern LED flood lights. The total wattage consumed by the 85W LED floods is only 1020 watts. The total cost of installation was $85,000, paid for by a government grant. Comments are pouring in about the light display. One onlooker commented, “It is like having a free light show for people to enjoy, makes you want to see what else is inside.”
GoggleWorks wanted to attract visitors to the museum at night without increasing their expenses. The operating expense of the 4 story factory was high enough already.
