A Colonial Green Team member was called in to TRICO Lift Company to examine existing fixtures that were creating too much noise. The company had eighty-seven 400W metal halide low bay fixtures. Our Green Team member realized that these fixtures were not efficient and proposed that TRICO change out their existing fixtures to new 4-light T5 fixtures and add motion sensors in the building. The Green Team member was able to demonstrate how these fixtures were more efficient and would save TRICO energy, and then worked with TRICO to help them acquire a NJ SMART START REBATE for using the new fixtures. The company was also able to obtain additional rebates for motion sensors and other energy efficient products they added to their facility.
